Hope you are all well on this lovely Friday :-)
So last night I trained really well worked up a proper sweat and now I'm feeling the knock on effect today.
Every time I get up from my desk I feel a slight twinge in my back lol but its cool as the saying goes NO PAIN NO GAIN heheheheheh....
Soooo..... what I wanted to talk about was working out and your hair especially with ethnic hair. A lot of ladies seem to be put of by the gym as they are scared to mess up their fresh relaxer or straighted hair .
Now I'm going to tell you how I over come this problem, but remember ladies this is just what I do and may not necessarily work for you!
So a little secret ladies have you ever heard of deep condititoning your hair while you work out????
It is the greatest thing ever!!!! Now that I am training again I wash my hair after every session and I like to always DC. With me going to the gym 3 times a week I was finding it hard to fit it all in, so I did some research and found out that you could DC on dry hair so before I leave to go to the gym I put in my Olive Oil Root Stimulator Deep conditioner in my hair and wrap it into a bun.
I then do my workout and let it penetrate while i sweat as my pores are now open :-)
Then after i have completed everything in the gym I have my shower wash my hair and let it dry naturally I apply my Aussie leave in conditioner and Shea butter and I'm good to go!!
The Next day my hair is fresh n straight like I didnt just sweat it out the night before.
